  12. I just received a guru-rom for my GVP SCSI HC+8 board and put the rom on.
  13. The docs say that with the proper jumpers set (I didn't need to change any),
  14. that system should boot right up (no need to change drivers for the disk).
  15. Well, I installed the chip, checked the jumpers, and booted.  All I got was
  16. the WB 3.1 Kickstart screen.  I switched to my old rom, and all worked.  I switched
  17. back and forth between the new and the old rom, and the new one never let my
  18. Amiga 2500 see the scsi bus at all.
